Notice of Brand Transition and Service Updates

Dear Valued Guests,

We sincerely thank you for your continued love and support for L’Escape Hotel.

Starting December 29, 2025 (Monday), L’Escape Hotel will be newly operated under the Marriott brand.

Accordingly, please be informed of the following changes to our operation policies and services.

 

 

1. Consent to Cross-Border Transfer and Third-Party Provision of Personal Information

 

As L’Escape Hotel transitions to the Marriott brand on December 29, 2025, your reservation and stay-related personal information will be transferred and provided to Marriott (Country: United States).

※ Please note that, in accordance with Marriott brand policy, the retention period of personal information will be extended from 5 years to 7 years. 

※ Guests staying after December 29, 2025 will be required to provide consent to this transfer at the time of reservation. You may refuse consent; however, please note that refusal may limit the ability to make reservations or use related services.

 

2. Launch of New Official Website

On November 10, 2025 (Monday), L’Escape Hotel will launch a new website under Josun Hotels & Resorts, in conjunction with the official Marriott website.

 

  · The existing website will remain active from November 10 to December 28, 2025, and reservations and confirmations will be available as usual during this period.

  · From December 29, 2025, the current website will be deactivated and automatically redirected to the new website (the website address will remain unchanged).

 

 

3. Room Types and Facility Name Changes

In line with the Marriott brand transition, room categories and selected facility names will be changed as follows:

4. Boutique Lounge Name Change

The Boutique Lounge, which offers breakfast and happy hour service, will be renamed La Maison Boutique effective December 29, 2025.
Operating hours will be adjusted as follows and are subject to change depending on hotel operations.​

Sweet Delight

12:00 – 16:00

Happy Hour

18:00 – 20:00

 

 

5. Termination of Singapore Airlines Mileage Partnership

The existing Singapore Airlines mileage accrual benefit will be available only for stays completed by December 28, 2025 (Sunday).
After the Marriott brand transition, this partnership will be discontinued, and mileage accrual will no longer be available.​

  

6. Marriott Bonvoy Membership Benefits


Following the transition, Marriott Bonvoy membership benefits will apply as below:

 

   · Marriott Bonvoy points can be earned and redeemed (terms and conditions are available on the Marriott Bonvoy website).

   · Complimentary breakfast and Sweet Delight benefits will be offered to Platinum Elite and higher-tier members.

 

At L’Escape Hotel, we will continue to embrace our philosophy of “Escape from the Ordinary”, providing refined boutique hospitality and an elevated service experience under the new Marriott brand.

L’Escape Hotel of JOSUN HOTELS & RESORTS Inc. (hereinafter the “Company”) values its guests’ information including e-mail addresses registered by customers while using the service of the Company’s website (hereinafter the “Website”). The Company does not collect e-mail address without customers’ consents. If a company automatically collects its customers’ e-mail addresses by using technical means to send commercial e-mails, it shall be faced with less than a year jail sentence or be fined less than KRW10, 000,000 in accordance with the Subparagraph 3 of the Paragraph 5 of the Article 50 of the Korean Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (IT Network Act).

- To operate global brand-standard services, identify and verify guests, provide hotel reservation and stay services,
manage room operations and handle customer service and inquiries.
4. Time and Method of Transfer/Provision
- Securely transmitted and stored through the hotel system upon check-out after the transition date.
5. Retention and Use Period
- 7 years after room reservation.
※ Please note that under the Marriott brand policy, the retention period will be extended to 7 years,
compared to the previous consent form’s 5-year retention period.

You may refuse to consent; however, in such cases, reservation and stay services may be limited.
